The High Prairie Golden Age Club held a Mother’s Day Raffle and recently drew the winners on May 12. Valerie Fjeld won the first place prize of a bench and side table; Ron McInnis placed second and won a wooden chair; and Chanese Thomson, of Drayton Valley, Alta., won a gift basket. Proceeds from the raffle will go toward the operations of the club.
