The High Prairie Red Wings are back on the winning track after two victories last week.
The host Red Wings beat the Slave Lake Icedogs 7-6 in overtime on Jan. 26 in Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League action in the West Division.
Mikal Chalifoux popped the game winner four minutes into the five-minute overtime period.
The Red Wings led 2-1 after the opening period. Larry Yellowknee opened the scoring at 2:30 on an unassisted goal.
Drayden Linklater tallied the second goal at 8:29 assisted by Tyson Mitchell and Larry Yellowknee.
High Prairie led 4-3 after two periods.
John Yellowknee scored at 4:56 assisted by Kenton Night.
Maven McMaster gave the Red Wings a lead at 17:35 assisted by Donovan Joseyounen and Tyson Mitchell.
Each team scored three goals in the third period.
Chalifoux scored at 18 seconds assisted by John Yellowknee.
Mitchell tallied a goal at 12:52 assisted by Benny Yellowknee and Larry Yellowknee.
High Prairie outshot Slave Lake 53-45 in the game.
The Red Wings doubled the Northern Alberta Tomahawks 6-3 in Enoch on Jan. 25.
