High Prairie Renegades suffered two more losses in Mighty Peace Football Conference high school play.

Ethan Gladue scored an 18-yard touchdown and caught an interception as the Renegades fell 80-6 against the Sexsmith Sabres in a game Sept. 29 in High Prairie.

However, the Renegades couldn’t keep up with the Sabres, provincially ranked No. 1 in Tier IV [449 students and under].

Sexsmith led 35-0 after the first quarter and never looked back.

The Renegades were also blanked 54-0 by the Peace-Wapiti Titans in Grande Prairie Sept. 23.

Upcoming, the Renegades visit the Grande Prairie Warriors on Oct. 6, host Peace River Pioneers on Oct. 14 and visit Whitecourt Cats on Oct. 21 to close out their second season in league play.
