Saturday, Dec. 7 will be a special day at Berwyn!
Super Saturday returns to the village with a parade starting festivities at noon on Main Street. Organizers encourage community organizations, groups and businesses to enter a float. It is a fun way to show community spirit.
The Grimshaw & District Chamber of Commerce is organizing the parade. They ask all entries (registrations) be mailed to them at info@grimshawchamber.com
In addition to the parade, there will be many other activities to enjoy. The Berwyn Farmer’s Market occurs at the Berwyn Ag Building from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature local vendors with everything from holiday treats to unique gifts.
Visitors can visit and say hello to Santa Claus at the Golden Age Club from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and enjoy hot chocolate, hotdogs, face painting, and door prizes, all sponsored by the Golden Age Club and Grimshaw Community Services.
Activities continue at the Berwyn Municipal Library. There will be a Christmas Baking Boxes fundraiser and cookie decorating from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
And, there is a ham and turkey bingo at the Elks Hall from 1-8 p.m.
Super Saturday gives everyone attending the chance to come together and support each other, plus celebrate the holiday season.
