The Town of High Prairie has hired an interim CAO but it’s a familiar face around the office.
Hermann Minderlein accepted the interim role Sept 12.
He has served as CAO and interim CAO previously.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Hermann as our interim CAO,” says Mayor Brian Panasiuk.
“This position is key to ensuring our administration has a strong yet approachable leader to build cohesive teams ensuring we continue to provide residents with excellent services, programs and infrastructure.”
Minderlein has a long employment history of senior leadership roles including treasurer, director of corporate services, interim CAO and CAO over the last 19 years. He has worked with numerous multi-disciplinary teams, community groups, boards and councils in providing long-range planning, policy, mediation and financial advice.
Before working in local government, Minderlein was employed in the Not of Profit Seniors housing industry, preceded by 26 years working with the Canadian Armed Forces, both in uniform and as a public servant.
Minderlein is pleased to return to the Town.
“I am thrilled about the opportunity to once again return to the Town as the CAO for the Town.
“I am looking forward to working hard to support council, the community and staff,” he concludes.
